About the Department
The Department of History at IASE Deemed University was established in 2012 with a view of imparting higher education in History to Students belonging to villages and town. The students are being taught history in a very scientific manner, cultivating their scientific temperament and making them acquainted with the local history, culture as well. The Department is catering to the need and aspiration of higher education and learning. The Department is also providing the facilities for research. The Department imparts education up to M.A. standard in all the three groups i.e. Ancient, Medieval & Modern Indian History and also runs Ph.D. course. The courses and syllabus are so framed that they can meet the requirement of students opting for competitive examination or pursuing further education and research in different fields of specialization in history as such. The Department is housing a mini museum consisting of the artifacts of Kalibanga etc. It also has the photographs of important historical monuments. The Department of History also organizes competitions on current issues to hone up the holistic skills of students.
